After a minor delay in shipping, it arrived. And angels flew and heralds trumpeted–or something like that.
Charango has exceeded every expectation I placed before it, and has delivered one of the most beautifully sounding records to come out this year. Vocalist Skye Edwards’ airy voice is accompanied by full beats and lush sampled soundscapes, giving listeners a disc that is instantly accessible, yet lasts and grows with each listen through. This disc is going to be hard to beat.
