This is a party based on environmentalist values, but that in no way limits their scope of vision. The Greens have an extensive series of initiatives in their platform to deal with problems like the health care and farming crises. When it comes to post-secondary students, the Green Party believes Alberta should aim to have the lowest post-secondary tuition in the country. Theirs is a holistic and ambitious plan, one in which they see an ideal future where every Alberta home has an array of solar panels and the fields are filled with windmills. Youth issues, seniors’ issues, small business, democratic reform–this party will try to fix it all.
