The World According to Gob

Attention punk purists who hate it when one of their beloved bands gets "soft" and starts playing smarter more melodic songs: you now have one more reason to whine. The newest album by Gob is not only smarter and more melodic than their previous two offerings but it is also simply their best album to date. However, with The World According To Gob they prove they are not just a good punk-rock band but an excellent band, period. On their newest album, Gob creates 14 tracks both punk and rock fans alike can appreciate. Gob is still a punk band, and are an older and wiser punk band. Even punk purists would have to agree that, although Gob has always been a great punk band, they make an even better rock band.
