This month, Major League Baseball voted overwhelmingly in
favour of contraction by a 28-2 margin. What this means is by next season at the earliest, two teams from small markets will be purchased by the office of MLB and their players will be redistributed through a dispersal draft.

I commend the Gauntlet for preparing a special supplement on the history of the University of Calgary.

Universities are creatures of history and this university is no exception. As I have discovered as the new President, the U of C has a fascinating history and one that is longer than most would expect.

Natasha DhillonPDF files may take a moment to load

• Highly involved and responsive to clubs
• Visible on campus
• Makes full use of her commissioners

• Poor prioritization
• No personal accountability
• Too operations focused, lacks balance

Some Students' Union executives have run great commissions, others have run shitty ones. Natasha Dhillon's Operations and Finance commission falls somewhere in between, in the glorious land of mediocrity.
