If indoor track and field medals are the new crack, the Dinos had to lose the po-po after their weekend spree in Edmonton. The University of Alberta hosted the Golden Bear Open Jan. 20-21 and the Dinos track and field squad were out in full force.

Results look attracktivePDF files may take a moment to load

While the Dinos track and field squad excelled in many events at the 2005 Canada West Track and Field Championship Feb. 25-26, the document used for the results reported in the last issue of the Gauntlet was unfortunately not the right one. The following are correct results and will hopefully clear up the mass confusion and controversy experienced from last issue... or not.

Talent
I can't think of a word to describe this team's talent, so I'm going to make
one up. Amtifluecent. There, I said it. They had Jessica Zelinka, capturing two
golds, a silver and a bronze at the national championships earning herself CIS
Female Track and Field Athlete of the Year in the process.

Coaching
In short, Les Gramantik and Doug Lamont are very good at what they do, and
both have been honoured in the past for their efforts.
