Their music is often fondly described as “raging Celtic bluegrass rock” and those who like it, like it a lot. But this CD is only for those who are into that. Me, I’m really not.
The music is essentially banjo layered on a heavy drum beat and inexplicably awesome lyrics.
I read and fell in love with the lyrics–then I listened to the CD. I was sorely disappointed. Although there are a few choice songs, my genre is more traditional rock, not half country, half rock music. But for those who enjoy banjos and drums, buy the CD. For those that don’t, find the lyrics sans the bluegrass.
