Deep, dark and mystical is not easily attained. Sunna tries, but it eludes them. The feeling you get when you put on Tool isn’t here, but they try; they really try.
The first track "I’m Not Trading" begins with mechanical grinding sounds before a meaty bass jumps in. You think you’re about to be assaulted with a heavy-metal beating, and then, somewhere around the end of the first verse, they turn all Savage Garden on you. The letdown is unspeakable.
Bravo on the attempt, but there is so little to say about the overall record that words would be wasted. So basically, steer clear of Sunna’s latest, One Minute Science.
