[Re: "Ctrl-Alt-Del," April 6, 2006]

Regarding the letters to the editor published over the recent "Genocide Awareness Project" and particular the letter by Mr. Matthew Wilson--I find your lack of awareness on the issue disturbing, to say the least.

Kyle Francis, I am disappointed in you. Campus Pro-Life was not calling for criminalising abortion. You are blowing smoke.

Here's the abortion debate in a nutshell: If one doesn't want a baby the baby's life has no intrinsic value. If one wants the baby the baby's life has value; want=value. A human life is now a transaction to be voided at will.

Regarding your article covering the pro-life Genocide Awareness Project, it is necessary to clear up some of the mistakes that you have made. Once again, while reading the Gauntlet, I felt like I was perusing the pages of the National Inquirer or the top 10 fiction list at Chapters.

I'd like to take some space to elucidate some of my reasoning for support of the $100,000 proposal passed by the Students' Legislative Council on Tuesday March 21.

Editor, the Gauntlet,

I am a fifth year student here at the university, and I am writing to talk about how disgusted and angry I am today. The pro-life demonstration outside of the science buildings is absolutely unacceptable and completely offensive.

Editor, the Gauntlet,

I regularly surf a Calgary based car enthusiast forum called Beyond. The forum isn't limited to the discussion of cars, though, and there are many subsections which encourage the discussion of a much wider range of topics. One section is labeled Campus Chat, and I came across a disturbing thread.
