Politicians wanted

It’s that time again.

The Students’ Union is looking for nominations to fill its five full-time and 32 part-time elected positions for the upcoming year.

“It’s the ultimate altruistic dream,” said SU President Matt Stambaugh. “The Students’ Union is the direct mechanism by which students can effect change, because we are a main communication body with many areas of the university.”

Nomination forms are available at the SU offices and online, and may be submitted at the SU offices Jan. 27-29 between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Up for grabs are the President’s and the four Vice-Presidents’ titles, as well as four commissioners for each VP, 13 faculty representatives, two University of Calgary Senate representatives and one Board of Governors representative. The election will take place Feb. 12-14, 2003.
