Beer, learning, and a good deed with little effort required. Who doesn’t like the sound of that? This is your chance to combine it all, with the Big Rock Brewery’s Lecture Series, which hits the Big Rock Grill starting Tue., Oct. 4. The first session features the University of Calgary music department’s Jeremy Brown, whose lecture is entitled, “The Saxophone: Golden Goddess of Musical Instruments.”
Tickets are $30 per person, and that gets you drinks, dinner, and some coffee to sober up with, not to mention a fun experience.
All proceeds from the event go to U of C undergraduate scholarships, awarded to six students every year–the perfect excuse to throw back a few.
