I think that the entire article was and is an accurate assessment of residence the past few years. Last year I was a CA in Rundle and I saw the state the rooms were in when our students moved in but that was more understandable because of the flooding that occurred in the summer. However this year it was a bit of a shock for me to move into my apartment in Olympus to find it hadn’t been cleaned at all. I didn’t make a big deal out of it at the time because quite frankly I just wanted to move into my apartment and thought it would be faster if I just cleaned it myself. I have spoken to many other students that were in the same situation but haven’t really known who to talk to about it. Im really glad that the Gauntlet made an issue out of it because I don’t think that enough students know where to go and it is a prevalent issue within residence.
