This time out, Young has recruited legendary players Booker T. Jones (keyboards) and Donald "Duck" Dunn (bass) from Booker T & The MG’s. Their inclusion helps Young conjure up a soulful ’60s R&B sound for Are You Passionate?
This new album has a wealth of great new tunes that mature like a fine wine with every listen. Highlights include the pounding "Goin’ Home," the only song featuring his long-time band Crazy Horse, and the 9/11 anthem "Let’s Roll," which pays tribute to the heroes of Flight 93. If you’ve heard this track, you’ll agree that it’s impossible to forget.
