Turn up the good, and turn down the suck. L.A. GUNS has released a terrible new album titled Waking the Dead. Much like Guns and Roses, these guys should have stopped record production in 1988 after the release of their first album instead of butchering the appeal of classic rock. It’s not classic if you release an atrocious Van Halen likeness in 2002. I am decidedly ashamed that this disc was produced by Andy Johns, the legend that produced Led Zeplin and The Rolling Stones. If you are looking for something to steady that wobbly desk of yours, I have a copy of Waking the Dead I’m willing to donate.
